Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got, I'm still Jenny from the block.

Hello again blog.
How are you? How's the wife? And that nasty infection?
Oh well that is good to hear.
Me?
Oh I'm fine.?
How did I sleep?
Reasonably well...untill about 4 O'clock this morning. Something outside, decided to lovingly BEEP REALLY LOUD FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF. It would have been a bit more understandable if it was a car alarm or the alarm of one of the nearby shops, as it was fairly windy. But no. It was as if an oversized microwave had be left under my window and set for 2:30seconds and then abandoned. I mean if this was the case, I'm sorry for ignoring your death cries, little oversized microwave but you have to understand, I thought you were an alarm and I was trying to sleep!
(After going out to bring in the recycling box around 11am, I can confirm that there was no sign of any types of microwave). So. Annoying beeping sound, thank you for ruining my sleep and I hope I don't hear you tonight....or any other night/morning.

This ramble was brought to you by the letter F and the number 11.

Ohmygosh, my first blog post on my first blog, on a website for blogging purposes.

Hello. Thats always a good place to start.

If you managed to find this blog, I'm sorry, I tried hard to make sure no one would see it (Ok, I didn't because if I did, I wouldn't make a blog in the first place). Please never expect to me be funny, witty, charming, serious or interesting, because you will be sorely dissapointed. Much like on Christmas day when you came running towards the pile of presents only to recieve a pack of white cotten hankerchiefs that don't even have the correct initals on. Perhaps that was just me. Either way, I have no real purpose for this blog, apart from amusing my friends who insist that my having a blog would be a great idea.

So tonight, I finally gave in and purchased CoD BLOPS to play with some friends....me being me, I thought I'll shop around and get a cheaper deal. One short visit to Game.co.uk later, and I'm the proud owner of a copy which I could download from them directly. Great I thought. I check my email because it tells me thats where I will recieve directions to installing etc. Only to see at the bottom of the email: In order to fight fraud, our team is conducting further checks in order to validate your order with us. You will receive your activation key as soon as your order has passed our checks. These checks don't usually go past the time needed to download your game. If you have not had any confirmation from us in the next 12 hours, we recommend you contact customer support.

Awesome, I'm still waiting for this email. But I would like to point out the part which tries to make me feel better: These checks don't usually go past the time needed to download your game.
Oh ok that isn't too bad, I mean I can download it while I wait for my key. No. The file they let me download is infact the Steam installer. Which I already have installed. Uninstalling, just to reinstall would be a very bad idea, so I'm stuck waiting for this email so I can activate the game. I'm sure this is because I was sat rather smugly thinking 'Yeah I just saved a fiver!'.

Thanks for listening. I feel we made a break through tonight.
